I’m a designer working with digital but physical objects. I have an eclectic range of project in my product design portfolio, and try to focus my work on important social and environmental issues. Even if it means making a boring object, interesting in its execution and material choice.
I’m currently employed at TRIL, where I help academics turn there research ideas into products, interface and services that can be used to keep older adults more independent.

Ben uses sophisticated design thinking and methodology to come up with an idea for an easy-to-use digital system to connect old folks with their friends and family. My favorite part is the “friend pass” that you stick right on the screen to connect you directly to whomever you want (and is online).
